Best food in town!!! My waitress Mary was great too. She told me there wasn't even a microwave there that everything is fresh and made to order and it shows. My ribeye was cooked and seasoned to perfection . I definitely will be returning. Thank you Main Street I have found my new favorite restaurant
A sweet place to gather and the helpful staff made a multi-faceted visit all the better. Meeting from Fayetteville, Roanoke and Richmond to celebrate promotions, birthday and relocations! Good lunch sandwiches and amazing desserts. Really bad photo, sharing anyway; strawberry drizzled cheesecake, death by chocolate cake and chocolate chip cookie dough cake.
Recently we had lunch at this quaint downtown restaurant in, South Boston. The service was wonderful and the server welcoming. I ordered the, Bacon Chicken Wrap, and it was delicious! Also, shopping in the downtown area was an added bonus.
I stopped here for a lunch. It was a nice old building that was very clean. I had a pimento cheese dip that was warm and melted with fried pizza dough that had everything bagel seasoning on it to dip in the cheese for an appetizer. It was excellent. Then I had the Cowboy burger with fries. It was also excellent. I do recommend this place.
We had a great time at Main Street bar-and-grill.The service was excellent. Erica was our waitress, and she was so patient with us! We will definitely go again. This restaurant is a great asset to the downtown South Boston virginia area.
Really not sure about the poor reviews, this place was amazing. The lighting isn't dim, if anything it was quite bright. They said it is the best burgers and I must say as a burger guy I was impressed. I had the Diablo burger and it was amazing. Cooked exactly like I asked for, nice and spicy. We also tried the pimento dip, which was fantastic as well. The staff was so kind. Mary was perfect; made me all the random cocktails I asked for. Definitely stop in.
Main street bar and grill is a fairly new place, the place is very tidy and nicely decorated. Parking is easy on the street or nearby. Our server was very friendly and we had excellent service. The food was very good and didn't take too long to come out. It's nice to have another place to go to. Will definitely go back and would recommend this place.
What a gem!! The food was fabulous and cooked fresh when you make your selection...none of that pre-made, frozen stuff other places like to dish out. The restaurant is in the former Bistro location so you already know the atmosphere and surroundings were on point! And last but not least, our bartender Kimber made it a most memorable evening. She was more than helpful when making our dinner selections, and the drinks she made were delicious! She even taught me a lil bit so I tried something new... And LOVED IT!!! If you haven't tried it yet you're missing out! Please show some love and support to this great restaurant and staff!! The prices were reasonable and if we don't support our businesses then we won't have any!!! Y'all just gon keep eating McDonald's, Taco bell, and Bojangles??
